Peter has been very succesful in the Asferico International Nature Photography Competion. He was awarded with a First, Second and Third Prize, and one Highly Commended.

One of Peter's latest project is "Sharkwise", a documentary about Belgian "superman" Marc Sluszny, which will hit the Belgian cinema's later this year. Peter was responsible for all still photography. All spectaculair pictures, a.o. of great whites, photographed snorkelling outside the cage, can be found in the special Sharkwise Gallery.
Peter's shot of schoolchildren at Aldabra, observing sharks in the lagoon, was honored with "Highly Commended" in the category "Human and Nature".
The exposition about the Aldabra Atoll, Seychelles, a world heritage site, was opened officially in Paris on May 21st 2008. Main focus will be on interactive displays, photography (many of Peter's underwater pictures), moving images and sounds, below and above the surface.
The book about the Aldabra expeditions, cover below, is printed in Dutch, English, French and German.
November 2007, Shark
Trust
In november last year, one of Peter's photographs won a prize in the prestigious
shark photography contest of Shark Trust. His picture of a curious lemon
shark won the first prize in the category 'Quirky Encounters', and will
be featured in the Diver calender for 2008.
Furthermore, more of his material will be used in a Shark Trust brochure.
